The very reason for its consideration has to do with turnover and transience.
Additionally, a successful leadership succession depends upon its conjoined complement of a well-planned transition.
Leadership succession is dependent on variables that involve time related factors.
The research is being done to find out what independent churches can do to remain a viable entity in reaching the next generation for Christ.
As others have stated and thus is paraphrased “The local church is always a generation away from becoming extinct.”
The researcher is interested in finding out what can be learned from the surveys in order to offer a contingency plan leading to the longevity of the local church.
The purpose of this survey is to evaluate the local church’s policy and procedures in meeting its own leadership concerns and needs.
The following questions relate to the subject of leadership succession and development in the church. Any additional insight is greatly appreciated.
